When I Was I kid I remember getting these blocks that snapped together to build things, like cars and houses. there were these little yellow people that would live in these homes and drive the cars. I thought they were ok,. Then in the early 80's lego released space Lego. I was hooked I remember going to a friends house and building spaceships and jetpacks and reenacting scenes from Star Wars.
We didn't have a lot of money growing up and Lego was expensive, so I didn't have a bunch, I remember for a gift I got a set that was awesome! It was a spaceship that would split in two and could leave the back half of the ship (science lab) on a planet to explore.Even though I didn't have a ton of lego growing up I always loved them and thought they were the coolest toys. As I got older and grew out of toys I would still notice Lego, as the years went by they got license agreements with movies and TV shows and Lego took on a new life. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Marvel and Star Wars just to name a few. I wished I was a kid again. But I wasn't and so I would admire lego from afar every time I went to Target.
I have a friend who is making a living on YouTube, he challenged me to making a YouTube channel. I didn't know what to do for content, then I thought I like movies, and I like Lego, let's do a channel where I review Lego set and make a short film with the kits when I'm done.
So I went out and bought lego kits that were based on TV shows and movies and started my channel. I will also blog about each kit I build.
